Innovate Telford

Delivered by our Innovation Partner, European Innovation, aims to boost innovation levels in local SMEs and to empower businesses to harness innovation for growth. Start-ups are also eligible. The support is split into two parts.

Part one: aims to help businesses kick start their innovation journey and focuses on fostering a culture of innovation within local SMEs and start-ups; equipping them with the necessary tools to embrace the possibilities of doing things differently.

Each business will benefit from a diagnostic that will provide a comprehensive assessment of their innovation capabilities, leading to the production of a clear roadmap for growth. Using the "InnoMetric Analyser" tool, to provide insights into innovation culture, process efficiency, technology utilisation, market position, R&D capability, and financial health.

Support will also be given to develop an innovation strategy with accompanying proposition deck ready to explore opportunities with potential R&D partners and investors.

Part two: called the Telford Innovation Accelerator, will provide a program that is focused on accelerating innovation potential and securing investment for growth. Participants will receive dedicated support to enhance their capabilities, navigate commercial investment opportunities, and access funding resources.
