McPhillips celebrates 60 years of building success in Telford

Today, McPhillips, a cornerstone of Telford’s thriving business community, proudly celebrates its 60th anniversary. Established in 1964, McPhillips represents a homegrown success story, embodying the entrepreneurial spirit and resilience of the borough.

McPhillips stands out as a business that was founded, nurtured, and grown locally. From modest beginnings, the company has grown into a national leader in construction, renowned for its innovative solutions, sustainable practices, and commitment to the highest standards of quality. McPhillips has played a vital role in shaping Telford's and the wider West Midlands landscape, creating infrastructure that has supported the region’s economic growth and development.

In Telford McPhillips has played a vital role in delivering infrastructure and developments for a range of projects including Southwater and are currently on site at Telford's latest development Station Quarter. 

To mark its anniversary, the company has launched the McPhillips Community Fund to build stronger communities and champion local organisations. The fund, which will be used to support projects across the borough which make a positive impact on community life, has been launched in partnership with Shropshire Community Foundation.
